I decided to bring in the pumpkins as I won’t have time in the next few weeks to get them in before a frost. Some still need to ripen a little but I’m rather pleased with the winter squash selection this year. Some will be for display, others will be displayed until they’re eaten!
Storing them is always a little tricky, the house is really too warm, but the shed and garage at risk of mice so I tend to have to eat them quicker than I would like. I’d love to extend the porch at the front of the house so I have a cool storage space, dream big, right!?
